We were quite impressed with the handicap access of the park in general. Specifically, there was a totally accessible washroom including a change table that was set up between the men and women's rooms. Which meant we could both be in the shower with Zoe. We typically both take her into the bathroom when giving her a shower at camp (it is not safe to shower Zoe alone anymore because she arches and wiggles so much) but usually we have to sneak into each other's bathrooms. This time we could take our time and enjoy the facilities. There was also a wheelchair dock and steps down into the lake. Zoe had a great time walking up and down the wheelchair accessible sidewalk/dock area. We were camped near the fully accessible sights so Zoe could walk along the flat area of the road. She was even able to walk up hill a bit. Her walking has really come along in the last few months.
Zoe hanging out at camp. Yes- we brought that highchair! Been using it for three years now and it still works well. It is great because it is so small and portable. As you can see, it also doubles as a play chair.

I love the pics. Zoey is growing up and getting so big! Her smile is so contagious...so full of life. We are taking the Rachel Coleman's approach too this year. Live life to the fullest, so we are ready to take Yellowstone National park head on...we just purchased two back carriers for our girls. We can't wait to try them out and enjoy the beauty of God's country. I don't know if Beau can handle Allison who weighs 50lbs on his back for long distances. He claims if Rachel can carry her daughter then he can too...it will be entertaining to watch. Thanks for sharing your pics and adventures. Can't wait to see you guys in Salt Lake city.
Wow that is awesome. Looks like you all had so much fun. We used Taylor's high chair until she was to big to fit in it anymore. lol You do what ever works best for them.
Sherry- I am so happy to hear you are coming to conference this year. And be sure to take lots of pictures of Beau with Allison on his back :)
Jenny- I see from your blog that Taylor loves camping too. I think this high chair will continue to travel with us for a while. But like you said, you do whatever works best for them. I was surprised we fit all of Zoe's equipment in the car without putting on the car top carrier.
